Philippe A. Martin

Philippe A. Martin is professor emeritus at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland). His research interests have mainly focused on the mathematical and conceptual aspects of quantum physics and statistical mechanics, disciplines he has taught for many years. He is the author of the book, with François Rothen, Problèmes à N-corps et champs quantiques, PPUR (1990), english version Many-Body Problems and Quantum Field Theory, Springer (2002) and, with Christian Gruber, De l'Atome antique à l'atome quantique, PPUR (2013).
