Paul Waddell is Professor and Chair of the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is also Senior Fellow in the Berkeley Institute for Data Science, and Director of the Urban Analytics Lab. He is also founder and President of Synthicity, which develops urban simulation and 3D visualization software solutions for urban planning and design. His research focuses on the interaction of land use, transportation, and environmental planning within urban regions.
