Ricardo Hurtubia holds a PhD in Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and is Assistant Professor in the Institute of Urban Studies and the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). He is also a researcher at the Center for Sustainable Urban Development (CEDEUS, PUC) and the Complex Engineering Systems Institute (ISCI, Universidad de Chile). His research is focused on location choice modelling, urban dynamics and the application of econometric tools to user behavior and urban design problems.
