André de Palma is specialized in Industrial Organization, Decision theory (discrete choice models, decision under risk in non-expected utility), as well as in transportation and urban economics. He was with S. Anderson and J.-F. Thisse, one of the father of the “new industrial organization”. He is currently teaching at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, in Paris. He belongs to the top 1% of economists’ world-wide and is ranked #2 in Transportation economics, according to RePEc.
